Action Child Mobilisation (ACM) is a welfare organisation founded in 1996 that endeavors to provide training in Christ-centered, pre-school education. Pre-primary training broadens the horizon of the pre-school child enabling them to learn from the experiences in which they themselves actively participate. The action has a dual purpose: to prepare pre-schoolers for the prerequisites of formal schooling (Grade 1); and to expose the children to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
The main activity consists of a bi-annual training given to prospective teachers from the informal sector identified by churches and community leaders, as Early Childhood Caregivers. Evaluation of teachers and schools is done regularly by the ACM board.
